Ex d starter
The Direct Online (DOL) starter is the method used to start induction motors. It consists of a Motor Control Circuit Breaker (MCCB) Circuit Breaker or Motor Protection Circuit Breaker (MPCB) along, with a contactor. Optionally it may also include an overload relay for added motor protection. The main component of this setup is a contactor that can be automatically disconnected by the thermal overload relay in case of any faults or when there is current. This simple system offers motor protection and control, for induction motors.
