Foam Generator PLC Panel

We are excited to share the successful completion of the design, manufacturing, and delivery of an ATEX and IECEX certified Foam Generator Control Panel for KIPIC in Kuwait.

This panel is meticulously crafted with Ex d certified Flameproof Stainless Steel enclosures, ensuring robust safety measures. Within this Ex-certified panel, a redundant system comprising Siemens S7-1200 PLC and associated control circuit components, including a Fibre Optic (FO) to Ethernet converter, is seamlessly integrated.

The primary application of this Explosion-Proof (Exproof) panel is to monitor LPG tank temperatures and activate the foam generator promptly upon receiving a confirmed fire signal from the dedicated fire alarm control panel.

Certified to Gas: II 2G Ex db IIB+H2 T5 Gb and Dust: II 2D Ex tb IIIC T100 C Db IP66 standards, the panel is designed to operate efficiently within an ambient temperature range of -20 to +50 degrees Celsius.

Mounted on a self-standing frame made of anti-corrosive painted stainless steel, this Ex Panel offers durability and protection tailored for marine and corrosive environments. This achievement marks a significant milestone for our PLC/Automation teams, underscoring the crucial roles played by engineering and quality in the successful completion of this PLC-based Exproof panel, suitable for hazardous areas Zone 1 and Zone 21.
