Ex d DB with 125A Socket Inlet

We are pleased to announce the successful design, manufacturing, and delivery of an ATEX and IECEX certified Power Distribution Panel for a prominent end user in Iraq, specifically the Ar Rumaylah Rumaila Operating Organization Iraq.

This cutting-edge panel features a dedicated 125A Ex de certified GRP Socket inlet (Power Inlet socket), complete with an inbuilt changeover switch. This switch is adept at seamlessly transitioning between multiple power sources, including the main power supply and auxiliary sources such as generators or other temporary/emergency power supplies.

The outgoing feeders from this panel play a crucial role in powering various components, including the corrosion inhibitor injection package and the instrument overpressure protection package. To ensure flexibility and readiness, ample spare feeders are also integrated.

The construction of this Ex d certified panel involves the use of Copper-Free Aluminum Alloy that is Ex d certified enclosures and that are specifically designed for marine-grade applications. Additionally, the socket is crafted from Ex de certified Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) material.

The panel holds certifications such as Gas: II 2G Ex db IIB+H2 T5 Gb and Dust: II 2D Ex tb IIIC T100 C Db IP66, attesting to its compliance with rigorous safety standards. Furthermore, the panel is designed to operate within an ambient temperature range of -20 to +55 degrees Celsius.

A notable feature is the use of special low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) cables, meeting site specifications and contributing to enhanced safety. The entire system is securely mounted on a Hot Dipped Galvanized Steel (HDGS) frame with a canopy, providing durability and protection.
