Ex-py Certified Purge Panels

We are proud to announce the successful design, manufacturing, and delivery of an ATEX and IECEx certified Ex py purge panel system for a major water treatment facility. This advanced solution is engineered for use in Zone 1 hazardous areas (Gas Group IIA/IIB+H₂), providing safe and reliable operation in an environment with potential flammable gas presence.
These purge panels are constructed from high-grade SS316 stainless steel, chosen for its exceptional corrosion resistance and durability in the harsh conditions of a water treatment plant. All internal components are IECEx certified, aligning with stringent international safety standards and ensuring the system’s compliance and reliability. For explosion protection, the panels employ a Py-type purging system (Ex p Type Y) that maintains a positive internal pressure, effectively preventing the ingress of hazardous gases and safeguarding the enclosed electrical equipment.
In addition to robust construction, the panels feature internal stainless steel piping for purge gas distribution, ensuring uniform pressurization throughout the enclosure and enhancing overall durability. The design also incorporates measures for efficient heat dissipation from internal components to the enclosure surface, keeping external temperatures within safe limits. As a result, the system can reliably operate in ambient conditions up to +50°C, meeting the demands of high-temperature industrial environments.
